Self-Assessments

The Self-Assessments are an important first step in the CIAC Certification process because they serve as a roadmap for testing preparation. Completing the Self-Assessments enable the candidate to identify areas of competency that require development (i.e., training and/or job experience) before certification testing, and also indicate subject matter/topical areas where the candidate has a solid base of competence.  In addition to use as an 'individual' gap analysis, the Self-Assessments are a valuable tool for benchmarking the collective competence of a contact center management team or other group for professional development purposes.

The set of four Self-Assessments align with the job role competency domains/standards for each CIAC Certification credential.  The four Self-Assessments can be completed together in order to identify the candidate's strongest competency domain in and, therefore, best starting point for certification testing.  Or, the Self Assessments can be completed one-at-a-time by competency domain.

The Self-Assessments are provided to certification candidates, free of charge, upon registration for CIAC Certification.
